SPONSOR: The sponsor of the Sweepstakes is Williams-Sonoma, Inc. on behalf of its brand pottery barn kids ("Sponsor"), located at, 3250 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94109.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins on August 20, 2026 (“Start Date”) and ends on September 21, 2026 ("End Date").
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to residents of Australia who are 18 years of age or older as of their time of entry and reside in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria or Western Australia. Employees and agents, including their family (parents, children, siblings, spouse) and members of their household (whether or not related), of Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, parent companies, distributors, divisions, agencies or of any related entity, including any consultants to Sponsor, are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes.
PRIZE: One (1) $500 AUD gift card, valid at Williams Sonoma, pottery barn kids, Pottery Barn, & west elm, will be available to be won on the draw date set out below. Total Approximate Retail Value: $500 AUD. Gift card subject to standard gift card terms and conditions; see gift card for details. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion subject to the written directions of any competent Australian authority. The Prize cannot be redeemed for cash and may not be substituted or transferred by the winner. WINNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REPORTING AND PAYING ANY AND ALL INCOME, SALES OR EXCISE TAXES THAT MAY APPLY TO ACCEPTING A PRIZE; SPONSOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR AND WILL NOT PAY ANY SUCH TAXES.
ODDS: The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
HOW TO ENTER: Visit https://www.potterybarn.com.au/free-design-services to book a new Design Crew appointment or visit one of our stores to work with an associate to book and attend the appointment before 9/21/2026. All entries must be received by the End Date. Design Crew appointments are free and can take as little as 15 minutes. Only one entry per family unit is allowed (a family unit is those persons having the same last name and address). All entry information and materials become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
WINNER SELECTION: The winner will be determined by random selection using a barrel draw conducted by the Sponsor among all eligible entries, on or around September 21, 2026, at 3250 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94109. All results of the selections are final and binding, subject to these Official Rules. In the event a winning entry is discovered to be invalid for any reason whatsoever or the person who submitted the winning entry fails to comply with these Official Rules prior to delivery of the prize, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. If by reason of a printing, computer or other error, more prizes are claimed than the number set forth in these Official Rules, all persons making purportedly valid claims will be included in a computerized random selection to award the number of prizes set forth in these Official Rules. No more than the number of prizes set forth in these Official Rules will be awarded.
NOTICE TO WINNER: Every reasonable effort to notify potential winners will be made using the e-mail address or telephone number provided at entry. Sponsor is not responsible for e-mail, telephone or other communication problems of any kind. Subject to the Unclaimed Prize Clause, if, despite reasonable efforts, a potential winner does not respond within 24 hours of the first notification attempt (or such shorter time as exigencies may require), or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate winner may be selected in accordance with the Unclaimed Prize Clause (as defined below). Only three (3) alternate drawings will be held, after which the prize will remain un-awarded, unless otherwise required by law.
If necessary, up to three second chance draws will be conducted on or about September 25, 2026, at at 3250 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94109, to distribute any unclaimed prizes, subject to any directions given by any competent Australian authority. The second chance draws will involve all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period, except for the potential winners of the original draw or prior second chance draws for this Sweepstakes ("Unclaimed Prize Clause").
VERIFICATION OF WINNER: Potential winners may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, tax forms, and (where imposing such condition is legal) a publicity release (collectively, "Prize Claim Documents"). If any potential winner fails or refuses to sign and return all Prize Claim Documents within seven (7) days of prize notification (or such shorter time as exigencies may require), the winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY; DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES: These Official Rules do not, nor do they purport to, limit, exclude or modify any non-excludable statutory guarantees provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) ("CCA"), any other warranties (whether express or implied) under any other applicable state or federal legislation which cannot be excluded, or any other liability or obligation (whether express or implied) under any state or federal legislation (including the CCA) which cannot be excluded.
Sponsor is not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical or computer failures of any kind, including any which may affect your entry or the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen, misdirected, mutilated, late or illegible entries. Entries not in compliance with these Official Rules are disqualified. Sponsor shall have the absolute right to determine if an entry is in compliance with these Official Rules without notice to the person attempting to enter.
While this Sweepstakes may be publicized on social media websites, such websites are not affiliated with Sponsor or this Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok or any other third-party website or application that might host content where information about this Sweepstakes is published (collectively “Content Hosts”).
CONDITIONS: By entering the Sweepstakes, each participant warrants that he or she has read and agrees to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding, and that he or she is not prohibited from participating in the Sweepstakes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, each participant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor and Content Hosts and each of their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers from any liability arising from or related to the Sweepstakes, including without limitation, personal injury, death, property damage, or claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. By entering the Sweepstakes, participants consent to the use of their name, likeness, image and biographical data for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. BECAUSE SPONSOR COLLECTS PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM PARTICIPANTS ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, SPONSOR ENCOURAGES ALL PARTICIPANTS TO REVIEW ITS PRIVACY POLICY, WHICH CAN BE REVIEWED AT https://www.potterybarn.com.au/privacy-policy. Sponsor's privacy policy also contains information about how participants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles and how Sponsor will deal with such a complaint.
Sponsor may collect and process participants' personal information in connection with the Sweepstakes for the purposes of administering and managing the Sweepstakes. This processing is in order to fulfill a contract or take steps linked to a contract (including these Official Rules), and if such processing is not provided, such participant may not be able to enter into, and Sponsor may not be able to fulfill, the contract. Sponsor will retain the personal information that such participant provides in connection with the Sweepstakes for a period reasonably necessary for the purpose of administering and managing the Sweepstakes, and may disclose such information in connection with a public list of Sweepstakes winners, or pursuant to any license granted to Sponsor by such participant under these Official Rules or the Prize Claim Documents.
Sponsor reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Sweepstakes or modify these Official Rules as necessary for any reason or as required by applicable law, subject to the written directions of any competent Australian authority. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify from the Sweepstakes, and ban from any future promotions, any person it believes to have intentionally violated these Official Rules or tampered with any element of the Sweepstakes without notice to the disqualified or banned person. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
DISPUTES AND GOVERNING LAW: The construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, and the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of laws rules or provisions. Any legal claims arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules must be brought in the federal or state courts located in San Francisco, California. Except where prohibited by law, each participant agrees that all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and that all claims, judgments and awards will be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Promotion, but in no event attorneys' fees.
